Job summary

IDEX Health & Science LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the West Henrietta, NY area to lead and coordinate all manufacturing activities on the B-Shift. The role reports to the Manufacturing Manager and focuses on achieving Safety, Quality, and Delivery goals through strong cross-functional leadership.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree, at least two years of supervisory experience, and hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, CI, and JD Edwards ERP in a low-volume,

Qualifications

• Technical degree preferred.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Capacity management.
• Manufacturing experience in a low volume, high mix environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, JD Edwards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all functions of the manufacturing process, including Materials, Equipment, and Facility Maintenance activities for the LSO Systems Value streams.
• Interface with production planning to establish attainable schedules and deliver as expected.
• Set priorities and work cross-functionally to resolve production issues, escalating when appropriate.
• Lead daily manufacturing meetings and develop clear communication tools.
• Lead daily management meetings to update Safety, Quality, and Delivery metrics.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lead CI actions by area.
• Provide support and direction to production technicians, facilitating change with Process Engineering involvement and proposing process improvement suggestions.
