Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor in a heavy industrial environment desired.
• Prior experience in building best practices for health and safety in a production environment.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team to success.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shop employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Plan and assign work; implement policies and procedures.
• Improve production methods, equipment, and operating procedures.
• Maintain safety and health of employees.
• Coordinate production planning to meet company goals.
• Maintain inventory levels.
• Provide employee coaching and development; resolve issues.
• Manage departmental performance measures and report progress.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform accident investigations.
• Administer labor agreements and track absenteeism/timekeeping.
