• Experience building best practices for health and safety in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety for all employees under supervision.
• Train and coach production staff on health and safety.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
• Plan production to meet company goals.
• Maintain proper inventory levels.
• Develop practices and processes to enhance productivity and employee engagement.
• Provide coaching and development; resolve employee issues.
• Manage department performance measures and report progress to manager.
• Manage department priorities and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct accident investigations.
• Interpret labor agreements and respond to grievances.
• Track absenteeism and timekeeping.
