Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials Science Engineering, or related technical degree.
• Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with Six Sigma concepts (Green Belt preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing processes and equipment focusing on safety, quality, yield, and productivity.
• Identify delays and waste; apply engineering principles to refine processes.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure procedures are followed.
• Analyze data to meet safety, quality, throughput and cost objectives; provide reports.
• Identify technology to eliminate steps and reduce costs.
• Perform root-cause analysis and support 8D investigations.
• Provide direction to optimize yield and train staff on new tech.
• Ensure SWIs are written, maintained, and followed.
• Develop metrics and dashboards for process performance.
• Work with management to enforce planned changes.
