Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manager Manufacturing (Downstream) for the Night Shift in a state-of-the-art drug substance facility. The role oversees 12-hour shift operations and a frontline team, ensuring GMP compliance and continuous improvement.

You will lead manufacturing personnel, coach staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production objectives and site goals in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• Managerial experience directly managing people or leading teams.
• Experience in GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 manufacturing operations with a 12-hour shift rotation.
• Coach and develop staff, hire, mentor and drive performance.
• Champion Lean and continuous improvement on the floor.
• Set area objectives, identify improvements and lead change efforts.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, F&E, PPIC, Mfg, Regulatory on production activities.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and safety/regulatory standards.
