Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manager Manufacturing Solution Prep - Nights to champion a safe, compliant production environment and lead a skilled team on the floor. You will drive problem solving, continuous improvement, and agile workforce practices with cross-functional partners in Quality, EHSS, and Process Development.

You will oversee staffing, training, and coaching to ensure staff readiness for 12-hour shifts, while advancing reliability and operational excellence across AR5 and AR30 lines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience OR
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience OR
• Master’s degree and 3 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience OR
• Doctorate degree with relevant leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Own and reinforce the safety and quality culture on the shift.
• Lead the shift and coordinate task allocation with scheduling.
• Mentor and develop manufacturing staff for engagement and growth.
• Identify and drive process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Plan cross-training and agile workforce allocation across AR5 and AR30.
• Translate strategic priorities into daily, weekly, and shift plans.
• Foster cross-functional relationships to meet production targets.
• Provide open, actionable feedback and manage performance.
