Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Manufacturing Associate I to perform repetitive sub-assembly and assembly tasks in a state-of-the-art facility. You will study instructions, gather parts, read blueprints, and assemble components with attention to quality and safety.

Responsibilities include documenting actions, assisting in training, and supporting prototypes as needed. The role offers a daytime to evening shift with a differential and comprehensive benefits for qualifying employees.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read assembly instructions and drawings.
• Experience reading Bills of Material and applying instructions.
• Basic computer skills and reliable English comprehension.
• Safely handle small hand and power tools as required.
• Willingness to cross-train for higher-level roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, parts lists, and gathering parts.
• Position parts and subassemblies by reading measurements and templates.
• Assemble components and check fit, using proper fastening methods.
• Assist in prototype builds and other basic projects as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow procedures.
• Document actions on production and quality forms and train new hires.
