Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform preventive and corrective maintenance in the plant under supervision. The role supports installation of new equipment, assists on fabrication projects, and follows a strict preventive maintenance schedule.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and welding/electrical/mechanical skills. The job requires rotating night shifts and on-call availability in a bakery processing facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating a forklift a must.
• Welding, electrical, and mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in installation of new equipment and on fabrication/construction projects.
• Follows preventative maintenance schedule and conducts routine maintenance.
• Performs machine repair including motors, gear boxes, pumps, and piping; replaces packing shaft seals.
• Diagnoses and repairs control circuits and VFD installations.
