Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in operating a forklift.
• Welding, electrical and mechanical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the installation of new equipment.
• Assists the Maintenance Supervisor and/or other personnel on special fabrication and construction projects.
• Trains Level 1 Maintenance personnel (if above level 1).
• Performs machine repair and installation, including motors, gear boxes, piping, pumps, and seals.
• Conducts daily greasing and oiling of plant equipment.
• Diagnosis and replacement of equipment parts with little or no direction.
• Ability to diagnose and repair control circuits and VFD installation.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Follows safety rules and attends safety meetings.
