Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform preventive and corrective maintenance in our bakery processing facility. You will assist in installing equipment, support the Maintenance Supervisor on projects, and follow the preventive maintenance schedule.

Responsibilities include repairing machines, running piping, sealing pumps, and training Level 1 maintenance staff. The role requires a safety-conscious approach and ability to work rotating 12-hour night shifts, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Experience in welding, electrical, and mechanical work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of new equipment.
• Assist maintenance supervisor on fabrication and construction projects.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedule.
• Train Level 1 maintenance personnel as needed.
• Perform machine repair including motors, gear boxes, piping, pumps, seals.
