Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform preventive and corrective maintenance in our bakery processing facility under supervision. You will assist with equipment installations, follow preventive maintenance schedules, and perform repairs on motors, gear boxes, pumps and piping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Experience in welding, electrical and mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of new equipment.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedule.
• Repair and install machines, replace motors and pumps.
• Diagnose equipment parts with minimal direction.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and wear PPE.
• Work rotating 12-hour night shifts; on-call as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in Safety Committee.
