Job summary

GlobalFoundries U.S. INC. in Malta's Fab 8, a 300mm leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing facility, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain and improve equipment and processes.

You will work with production teams and area engineers to ensure manufacturing readiness and implement preventive and corrective maintenance on tool sets. Applicants should have high school diploma and electrical or mechanical experience, be able to work in cleanroom environments, and be willing to work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical or mechanical experience: 2-year technical degree OR 2 years military OR 4 years related experience.
• English language proficiency (written & verbal).
• Able to work in a cleanroom and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work alternating day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, sustain and improve equipment in the assigned area.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per SOPs.
• Communicate equipment status updates to Lead Tech/Engineer.
• Assist with end-of-shift documentation and pass downs.
