Job summary

Amrize, a leading supplier of construction materials in the United States, seeks a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician for the Millville Quarry in Millville, WV. You will install and assemble new machines, maintain a preventative maintenance schedule, and service plant equipment during the overnight hours.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years of related experience, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Millwright or Industrial Mechanics or Heavy Equipment Maintenance preferred.
• 3 years of related plant/industrial experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Familiarity with MSHA safety regulations and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on crushers, conveyors, and quarry equipment during overnight hours.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in plant machinery.
• Weld, fabricate and perform structural repairs as needed.
• Lubricate equipment and replace wear parts per schedule.
• Maintain maintenance logs and document inspections.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely to access machinery.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate shift activities to day-shift personnel and supervisors.
