Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in York, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the night shift. You will independently troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, read schematics and manage preventative maintenance to keep production and building operations safe.

The role requires high safety and documentation standards, on-call duties, and the ability to source parts and coordinate with teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment.
• Able to work at elevated heights and operate aerial lift equipment.
• Exceptional problem solving and maintenance skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven and a strong team player.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on machines and building systems.
• Perform repairs involving power transmission components and PLCs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the building and surroundings.
• Communicate equipment status and repair timelines to peers and leadership.
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand system operations.
• Log repairs and maintenance activities in tracking software.
• Provide after-hours or weekend emergency repair services.
• Adhere to LOTO, chemical control, and PPE safety protocols.
