Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the night shift to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a busy warehouse environment. You will interpret schematics, perform preventative maintenance, and keep meticulous repair logs to ensure safety and efficiency.

The role requires strong problem-solving, clear communication, and teamwork to support production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2+ years in mechanical maintenance in manufacturing/packaging.
• Ability to work at elevated heights using ladders and aerial lift equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and maintenance skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machines, tools, HVAC, electrical, automation, and plumbing.
• Repair power transmission components and electrical control panels/PLC components.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the building and grounds.
• Communicate equipment status and repair timelines to peers/leadership.
• Read blueprints/schematics; apply PLC ladder logic basics.
• Handle after-hours or weekend emergency repairs and on-call duties.
• Maintain repair logs and parts inventory in tracking systems.
