Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4-year technical degree or 5-8 years relevant experience preferred.
• Vocational/technical or trade school in electro-mechanical engineering desired.
• Ability to read and use precision instruments like micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faulty production and plant equipment with minimal supervision using schematics, manuals and drawings.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
• Identify faulty parts for requisitions and manage spare parts inventory.
• Read and interpret schematics and prints to support maintenance tasks.
• Lead coworkers on assigned tasks and maintain safety and maintenance records.
