Job summary

JobSquad Solutions Team in Boise, ID is seeking a Day and Night Shift Maintenance Tech to support a food manufacturing facility. The role covers mechanical and limited electrical tasks with a 2-2-3 schedule and alternating weekends, requiring strong troubleshooting and GMPs adherence.

Ideal candidates will have a 2-year trades degree or 4 years of plant maintenance experience, plus a high school diploma, English proficiency, and welding/fabrication skills. Experience in co-packaging is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-year trades degree or 4 years plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing / co-packaging industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform 90% mechanical and 10% electrical maintenance.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders to service equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust.
• Ensure safe work practices and GMP compliance at all times.
• Utilize Microsoft Office to order and schedule parts and jobs.
