Job summary

Novolex is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician in Macon, GA. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems. The position features a 12-hour shift schedule (07:00 PM - 07:00 AM) with a competitive hourly pay between $34.94 and $40.75.

Primary duties include troubleshooting, part fabrication, and ensuring equipment stays in specification. Proactive safety and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Three (3) years in mechanical work.
• Three (3) years in controls.
• Experience with a CMMS; Maintenance Connection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, modify and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure products meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot electric controls, motor control centers and PLCs.
• Communicate project needs with Maintenance & Production Supervisors/Managers.
• Assist in training and skill upgrading of maintenance staff.
• Maintain safe work area and strong attendance.
• Report safety hazards promptly.
