Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Carrollton, TX. You will support maintenance tasks on production and facility equipment, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance with a focus on safety.

The role includes operating Maximo for work planning and tracking, in a 7pm-7am Wednesday to Saturday shift. The position requires 5+ years in maintenance/production, and a background in electrical controls, VFDs, and PLCs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Overtime as required.
• High School/GED required; technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair bag machinery and support equipment as directed.
• Follow safety procedures including Lock Out/Tag Out and Confined Space.
• Repair defects found outside the scheduled work and report unresolved issues.
• Maintain housekeeping and strive to minimize downtime.
• Operate overtime to complete repairs of down equipment.
