Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Maintenance Worker for our bakery processing facility in the United States. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance under supervision, assists in installing new equipment, and supports the maintenance team on projects.

Night shifts of 12 hours may be required and safety rules apply. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and skills in welding, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating a forklift and basic welding, electrical, and mechanical skills.
• Ability to read manuals and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install and service plant equipment as directed.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules.
• Repair motors, gear boxes, pumps, and piping.
• Diagnose and repair control circuits and VFDs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and use PPE.
• Attend safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
