Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Team Leader Maintenance for the C Shift (6:00pm–6:00am) in Bolingbrook, IL. This role leads a maintenance team responsible for daily tasks, preventive maintenance, and project work to support production and facilities.

You will train and guide others, participate in or lead process-improvement efforts, and ensure safety and efficiency in operations. A strong background in mechanical/electrical maintenance, leadership skills, and CMMS familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance with mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment
• Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks under stressful situations
• Read and interpret complex drawings and schematics
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; basic computer skills
• Experience with CMMS is preferred
• College degree completed or in process preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to the maintenance team and communicate daily goals
• Lead and train team members; assist with performance evaluations
• Perform or supervise preventive maintenance and manage work orders
• Ensure safety during maintenance activities and conduct safety training
• Coordinate spare parts, tools, and equipment and manage contractors on site
• Support continuous improvement projects and lean initiatives
