Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for 1st shift in Bolingbrook, IL. You will supervise the Maintenance department across Bolingbrook and Blue Island locations, planning work, enforcing procedures, and driving improvements to minimize downtime.

The role requires 10+ years in maintenance, 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, and hands-on expertise in safety, OSHA, and lean practices. Competitive benefits and a comprehensive pay program are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years progressive experience in a maintenance environment.
• 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of production equipment maintenance.
• Minimum 5+ years directing an hourly or manufacturing workforce.
• Hardware and facility maintenance management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale within area of control.
• Lead continuous improvement activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain 6S standards and enforce improvements when needed.
• Direct and enforce the safety program and complete training on time.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with NFPA-70E for all maintenance activities.
• Track KPIs and prepare reports to drive plant improvement.
