Job summary

G& W Electric is seeking a Team Leader I to support Production Leads, Supervisors and Managers in daily operations at its Bolingbrook manufacturing facility. The role focuses on leading production teams, training staff, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining inventory accuracy to prevent disruptions.

The candidate will participate in problem-solving, support NCR closure and continuous improvement efforts, and ensure accurate supply delivery while communicating effectively

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience required and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and bills of materials is preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading employees within an area of responsibility on a variety of processes and operations.
• Assist in the training and development of production team members.
• Work with operations and cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production challenges.
• Responsible for MRO inventories, manage and requisition shop supplies and tools ensuring availability to limit production disruptions.
