Job summary

Ocean Spray is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team in our manufacturing facility. You will oversee preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring reliable equipment and safe, timely production in a 6PM-6AM shift.

You’ll develop and monitor maintenance budgets, coordinate with plant leadership, and drive continuous improvement while upholding FSQA standards and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or related major or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations.
• Strong ability to influence, provide leadership, work in a team environment or independently.
• Able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Good facilitation/training skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and facilitate daily activities of a maintenance team for preventative and corrective work, safely and cost-effectively.
• Ensure standards for product quality, equipment and operator performance; promote cost-effective technology.
• Assist in developing maintenance budget, monitor spending and report operating costs; alert management to overruns.
• Work with plant managers to maintain positive employee relations; advise on labor issues, scheduling, training and grievances.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff; take corrective action per policy and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with EHS to ensure environmental compliance; promote food safety reporting and rapid corrective actions.
