Job summary

Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a skilled maintenance team, ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective upkeep of plant equipment and systems.

You will direct staff, help plan budgets, and promote FSQA initiatives across the facility. The role requires a BS/BA in engineering or related field with 3+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, strong leadership and communication abilities, and the capacity to interact at all

Qualifications

• BS/BA in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or related major
• 3+ years' experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations
• Strong ability to influence, provide leadership, work in a team environment or independently
• Able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Good facilitation/training skills

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and facilitate daily maintenance activities for a team to ensure safe, timely completion.
• Maintain standards for product quality, equipment and operator performance; promote cost-effective technology.
• Assist in development of maintenance budget and monitor plant spending; report operating costs.
• Collaborate with plant managers to foster positive employee relations, address labor issues & scheduling.
• Work with Human Resources to hire, train and develop staff; take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure Environmental Health & Safety compliance is met and promote food safety reporting.
