Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diverse equipment across the plant. You will handle dryers, chillers, HVAC, conveyors, pumps, and related systems while upholding safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, quick repair of breakdowns, and coordinating with managers to plan regular service intervals.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
At least one year of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing/distribution environment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment.
Repair broken machines and equipment quickly and efficiently.
Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
Order and install replacement parts for machines.
Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs.
Assist in pipe fitting tasks and perform some installation unassisted.
Maintain and service building equipment including HVAC, lighting, water and sewer.
Maintain documentation as required.
Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and otherwise maintain shop areas and tools.
Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
Maintain technical knowledge through training.
