Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment across the manufacturing floor. You will work on dryers, chillers, HVAC, pumps, conveyors, and related systems to support production goals, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, and eligible for a bonus program and comprehensive benefits. Experience as a mechanic in manufacturing is preferred, with PLC exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• One (1) year of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment.
• Repair broken machines and equipment quickly and efficiently.
• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Order and install replacement parts for machines.
• Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs.
• Assist in pipe fitting tasks and perform some installation unassisted.
• Maintain and service building equipment including HVAC, lighting, water and sewer, etc.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Maintain technical knowledge through training.
