Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment across the plant. You will work on dryers, chillers, HVAC, pumps, conveyors, and related systems to support production goals.

This night shift role offers a 36/48 hour alternating schedule, and bonus eligibility based on performance, with a focus on keeping a safe, clean, and productive environment while developing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and

Qualifications

At least 1 year of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment.
Repair broken machines and equipment quickly and efficiently.
Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
Order and install replacement parts for machines.
Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs.
Assist in pipe fitting tasks and perform some installation unassisted.
Maintain and service building equipment including HVAC, lighting, water and sewer.
Maintain documentation as required.
Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and otherwise maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
Maintain technical knowledge through training.
