Sherwin-Williams is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Connecticut. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, including dryers, chillers, HVAC, pumps, conveyors, and more, to support production goals.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, order parts, and assist with electrical and pipe fitting tasks while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Formación

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Preferred: at least two years in manufacturing/distribution as a mechanic.
• Industrial/electrical/welding certification or license preferred.
• Experience with PLC and electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic concepts preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment.
• Repair broken machines and equipment quickly and efficiently.
• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Record and report damaged or worn parts.
• Order and install replacement parts for machines.
• Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs.
• Assist in pipe fitting tasks and perform some installations unaided.
• Maintain and service building equipment including HVAC, lighting, water and sewer.
• Maintain documentation as required.
• Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and otherwise maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Maintain technical knowledge through training.
