Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. Department of Labor Journeyman's card in mechanical/electrical field and 3-5 years journeyman experience.
• Maintenance certificate and pursuing an associate degree in welding/machining, or journeyman card with 3-5 years experience.
• Minimum 120 contact hours of training above apprenticeship.
• Familiarity with machine control systems (air logic, relay logic, CNC, PLC).

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of manufacturing maintenance employees while acting as a Journeyman.
• Document repairs, setups, PM and safety procedures for equipment reliability.
• Support machine/process improvements and coordinate with Engineering, Production and Quality.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and training for the shift.
• Schedule overtime and manage spare parts inventory for reliability.
