Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to deliver highly diversified maintenance support under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment across hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems to help achieve business goals.

Applicants should have mechanical, electrical, and PLC experience, plus a forklift license and welding know-how.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a technical certification.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing/industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of mechanical, electrical, and PLC experience.
• Troubleshooting and Preventative Maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Attends to service calls and provides quality workmanship in a timely manner.
• Repairs and maintains plant equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, servo drives, motors, and PLCs.
• Uses lockout/tagout, arc flash, confined space and hot work permits to maintain a safe environment.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Uses drawings/schematics for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Participates in installation/modification of equipment and updates as required.
• Creates detailed repair reports in CMMS and follows GMPs and quality programs.
• Maintains a clean work area and participates in Continuous Improvement events.
• Supports other shifts as needed to meet business demands.
