Job summary

MillerKnoll in Zeeland, MI is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a U.S. Journeyman card to perform advanced mechanical PM and repairs on plant equipment, supporting uptime and changeovers. Shift is 2nd (3pm–11pm), pay $33–$44 per hour.

You will collaborate with engineering and vendors, lead others when needed, and help design and install equipment while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a U.S. Department of Labor Journeyman's card in the mechanical repair field.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain a Herman Miller forklift or aerial platform license.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties of the position with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mechanical breakdown and preventive maintenance on plant machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with management, engineering and vendors on new machinery/equipment selection, specifications, set-up and operator training.
• Lead capacity and provide direction to other employees when required.
• Document repair, set-ups, maintenance, PM and safety procedures to insure equipment reliability and quality control.
