Job summary

Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Hartford, CT is hiring a Quality Associate for the 3rd shift to ensure mail is processed accurately and efficiently. You will organize mail, review slips, and identify different mail types to keep workloads flowing.

The role requires 6–12 months of mail/USPS experience, pallet jack and meter machine familiarity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training provided; OT possible; benefits include medical, 401(k), and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months experience in mail/USPS requirements preferred.
• Pallet jack experience.
• Meter machine operation preferred.
• Ability to read numbers and customer names/instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Organize and identify mail by grouping letters, flats and postcards.
• Review pickup slips to ensure all slips are received and container counts match.
• Recognize mail types and organize job queues accordingly.
• Identify customers’ mail using meter lists and other tools.
• Maintain a clean work area to prevent injuries and hazards.
• Perform additional duties as required.
