Pitney Bowes in Pine Brook, NJ is hiring a Presort Associate 1 for the 2nd shift (1:30 PM–10:00 PM). This full-time role focuses on preparing outgoing mail with correct dates, postage, and barcodes to ensure accurate production.

You will troubleshoot jams, monitor mail quality, and follow USPS labeling rules while assisting with inbound/outbound processing. The ideal candidate is dependable, communicates well, and can lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail with correct dates, postage and barcodes.
• Communicate errors and identify bad barcodes in mail/packages.
• Troubleshoot and clear mail piece jams from equipment.
• Monitor mail quality before processing and before dispatch.
• Follow USPS label rules and bin/tray matching requirements.
• Assist with inbound and outbound mail processing and SLA adherence.
