Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring for a Direct Hire Full Time Presort Associate 1 at the Pine Brook, New Jersey Presort Services Facility. Work hours are 9:30PM to 6:00AM with multiple five‑day schedules. You will learn to prepare mail, check barcodes, and ensure quality before dispatch, while meeting SLAs and participating in safety practices.

The role includes training, opportunities for advancement, and comprehensive benefits. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Overtime, weekends/holidays may be required with little advance notice.
• Must have current work experience at Pitney Bowes as a Warehouse Mail Sorter.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail by reviewing dates, postage, and barcodes.
• Identify and report errors or bad barcodes in mail and packages.
• Troubleshoot and clear mail piece jams from the machine.
• Monitor mail quality prior to processing and before dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels and preparation requirements for stacking and sorting mail.
