Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Hazleton, PA is seeking a Machine Operator II for a night shift from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am. The role requires 2–5 years of manufacturing extrusion experience and demonstrates expertise operating complex machinery to produce plastic containers safely and efficiently.

You will monitor equipment, perform basic machine adjustments, support quality checks, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams to meet safety, quality, and output targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Must work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple plastic blow molding machines and inline equipment to produce containers safely.
• Follow safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line.
• Make basic processing adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Support preventative maintenance and assist maintenance personnel as needed.
• Document production data and coordinate with the Production Shift Supervisor.
• Assist in training new Operators and communicate processing details to oncoming staff.
