Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in West Hazleton, PA is seeking a Machine Operator I for the night shift (6:30pm–7:00am). The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing extrusion experience and hands-on expertise operating complex machinery to produce containers safely and efficiently.

You will follow safety, quality and GMP policies, perform setups and minor repairs, and contribute to continuous improvement projects while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing extrusion.
• Experience operating complex machinery and ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Follow safety, health, quality GMP policies and procedures.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line.
• Conduct basic processing adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Assist in preventive maintenance tasks and troubleshooting on the line.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and complete documentation promptly.
• Support training of new Operators and coordinate with shift supervisor.
