Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in North East, PA is seeking a Machine Operator II for a 2/2/3 night shift schedule (6:48pm - 7:00am), on a rotating weekends basis. Weekly pay starts at $28.95 per hour with a $1.00 night shift differential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years in manufacturing required.
• Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is essential.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including ability to communicate with customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks per instructions.
• Communicates effectively and collaborates with others.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently.
• Make adjustments or minor repairs to ensure high-quality container production.
• Follow all safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects as assigned.
• Assist in mold changes, color changes and on-line processing adjustments.
• Monitor resin, dryer, material handling and color systems for processing conditions.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and programming on the line.
• Complete and file documentation in an orderly and timely manner.
• Coordinate with shift supervisor to support production objectives.
• Provide training to new Operators.
