Job summary

Nahan is seeking a Machine Operator-Folder Card Affix to support Direct Mail production. This full-time, non-exempt role covers 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) with a $20-$23 hourly pay and a $2.00 shift differential.

The position serves as a primary contact for production issues on Direct Mail equipment, reporting to the Production Supervisor. Responsibilities include setup, troubleshooting, quality checks, reading work orders, TPM tasks, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous related experience preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide education, directions and assistance to team members on best practices, troubleshooting, quality, safety, compliance, and equipment.
• Perform tasks for Folder Operator, Ink Jet, and Helper roles, including setup and bagging requirements.
• Operate equipment within parameters for highest efficiency.
• Read and interpret job tickets, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Inspect cost center processes to verify quality standards and execution.
• Complete Managing for Daily Improvement (MDI) sheets for assigned equipment.
