Job summary

Nahan is seeking motivated individuals for a Machine Operator-Folder Card Affix role in Minnesota. This position is part of the Direct Mail department and reports to the Production Supervisor.

The job profile covers setup, operation of Folder Operator, Ink Jet, and Helper tasks, with emphasis on safety, quality, and lean practices. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, strong communication, and the ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a) with a $2.00

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous related experience preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide education, directions and assistance to team members on best practices and safety.
• Set up stations and bagging requirements for Folder Operator, Ink Jet, and Helper roles.
• Operate equipment within job parameters for high efficiency.
• Read and interpret job tickets to ensure sign-off and continuity.
• Inspect cost center processes for quality and execution.
• Complete MDI sheets for assigned equipment.
• Inform Shift Leader and order supplies as needed; provide handoffs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and TPM tasks.
• Follow Nahan lean manufacturing principles and safety policies.
• Work shifts including weekends and overtime as required.
