Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Production Line Mechanic/Technician for night shifts in Sugar Grove, IL. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on high-speed packaging lines, perform preventative maintenance, and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Applicants should have 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent technical degree. The role requires physical work, some weekends, and the ability to work in hot environments.

Qualifications

• Two years of production line mechanic or technician experience.
• Packaging and can-making equipment experience is a plus.
• Understanding of automation principles and controls logic is a plus.
• Must be able to work in hot conditions and be comfortable with ladders.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems on high-speed production line equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on packaging/processing equipment.
• Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks safely and on time.
• Support food safety, quality, and continuous improvement activities.
• Take lead to consult with internal resources to resolve issues and improve equipment.
