Qualifications

• Two years of Production Line Mechanic or Technician experience preferred, or equivalent technical degree or education.
• Packaging and steel aerosol can or aluminum can making equipment experience is a plus.
• Understanding of automation principles and controls logic is a plus.
• Ability to use Maintenance Shop equipment is a plus.
• Must stand for long periods, work in hot conditions, and crawl under lines; lifting up to 50 lb.
• Occasional weekends and flexible schedule may be required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems on high-speed production line equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on packaging/processing equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks safely and cost-effectively.
• Support food safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Consult internal resources to resolve issues and improve equipment; lead on improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and safe storage.
