Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is hiring a skilled Production Line Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair high-speed manufacturing equipment—mechanical drives, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors—and to collaborate with Electrical staff on packaging/processing machinery.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, support food safety and quality initiatives, request replacement parts, lead local troubleshooting efforts, and maintain a clean, organized workplace.

Qualifications

• Two years of Production Line Mechanic or Technician experience or an equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with packaging/steel aerosol can or aluminum can equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of automation principles and controls logic is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, crawl under lines, and climb ladders.
• Willing to work weekends and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems on high-speed production lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on packaging/processing equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance safely and cost-effectively.
• Support food safety, quality, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with internal resources to resolve issues and improve equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper storage.
