Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Production Line Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on high-speed packaging and processing lines. The role requires performing preventive maintenance, supporting quality initiatives, and coordinating part replacements while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The position operates on a 7 PM–7 AM schedule (or 7 PM–7 AM variants) with weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of production line mechanic or technician experience preferred or an equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with packaging or can-making equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of automation principles and controls logic is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with high-speed production line equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with packaging/processing equipment.
• Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks safely and on time.
• Support food safety, quality and continuous improvement activities.
• Request the design/fabrication of replacement parts or equipment as needed.
• Take lead to consult with internal resources to resolve issues and improve equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area free from debris and clutter.
