Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Production Line Mechanic/Technician to maintain and repair high-speed production line equipment on an overnight schedule. You will perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, complete preventative maintenance, and support quality and safety initiatives.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for weekend shifts and overtime. The team emphasizes reliability and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

Two years of Production Line Mechanic or Technician experience preferred.
Packaging and steel aerosol can or aluminum can making equipment experience is a plus.
Understanding of automation principles and controls logic is a plus.
Ability to use Maintenance Shop equipment is a plus.
Must be able to stand, crawl, climb ladders and work in hot conditions.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems on high-speed production line equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on packaging/processing equipment.
Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks safely and on time.
Support food safety, quality and continuous improvement activities.
Coordinate with internal resources to design or fabricate replacement parts or improvements.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
