Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor to lead hourly staff and ensure efficient daily tasks including driver deliveries, loading/unloading, and cross-docking in line with cost objectives.

You will oversee scheduling, performance standards, safety, and strong collaboration with customers. The role runs 8:00 PM–6:00 AM, with potential adjustments for peak periods and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills are required.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel, work the required schedule, background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance standards, interview hourly associates and provide hire recommendations.
• Supervise logistics operations including dispatch, freight loading/unloading, and documentation.
• Evaluate and implement changes to increase productivity and reduce overtime.
• Ensure safety compliance and provide training and direction to associates.
• Plan fleet/warehouse use and coordinate with customers to meet objectives.
