Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Langhorne, PA is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Supervisor to lead the hourly workforce, manage daily tasks, and ensure efficient driver deliveries, trailer handling, and customer service aligned with cost objectives.

You will review orders, supervise dispatch, and drive performance through coaching, attendance management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet location goals and customer needs.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills are required.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly workforce to execute daily tasks and activities including driver deliveries, loading/unloading of trailers, cross docking and customer service operations.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and proper documentation and procedure control.
• Evaluate and implement changes to improve dispatch/warehouse productivity and coach new associates.
• Review orders and opportunities for private fleet utilization and manage attendance and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with financial, safety and company policies; manage overtime and profitability targets.
