Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a detail-oriented shipping clerk to verify load paperwork, prepare and bill loads, and ensure accuracy from the plant. The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

You will work the 10:00 pm – 6:00 am shift, Monday through Saturday with occasional Sundays, and may cross-train on other shipping positions. Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and Tyson systems is expected, along with reliable communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous business office experience preferred.
• Strong data-entry skills and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Tyson Business Computer Systems; familiarity with WMS and mainframe tools.
• Willingness to cross-train in other shipping positions.

Responsibilities

• Check load paperwork for accuracy before billing and shipping loads.
• Set priorities, organize work, and coordinate with team to complete tasks.
• Maintain attention to detail and thorough information tracking.
• Cross-train on additional shipping roles and cover vacations or sick leave.
