Job summary

Tyson Warehousing Group seeks individuals for B Shift nights to gain hands-on exposure to warehousing operations, including transportation and outside warehousing, while rotating through shifts during training.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to work with multiple departments to deliver a safe, productive environment. No prior supervisory experience required, but leadership opportunities may arise during the program.

Qualifications

• Education: Knowledge normally acquired through a two- or four-year degree program.
• Experience: Not required but preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
• Communication Skills: Must have good communication skills; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

Overview

Learn all aspects of Tyson Warehousing Group, including Tyson Transportation, outside transportation, and outside warehousing, and gain knowledge of operations. This will involve working various shifts during the training phase.

Responsibilities

• Ensure entrepreneurial ownership of the direct responsibilities.
• Work with all location support departments (Maintenance, HR, Inventory Control, etc.) to coordinate efficient production of a quality product.
• Complete administrative duties such as maintaining Team Member time cards, calendars, and benefit needs.
• Educate Team Members and communicate with them to promote high morale and productivity.
• Promote a safe working environment and assist location management whenever called upon.
• Perform supervisory duties in their absence and other responsibilities as needed.

Shift

B Shift: Nights (6:00PM – 6:00AM).

Qualifications

• Travel: 3-6 trips during the program.
