Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Prepared Foods Division. You will oversee daily production, quality, and yields while maintaining a safe working environment. Strong leadership and record-keeping skills are essential to manage staffing and line maintenance.

The role requires 1+ years in a manufacturing setting, supervisory experience preferred, and excellent communication. 3rd shift availability (10pm–6:30am) is required, with travel to facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; vocational or college courses preferred.
• 1+ year experience in manufacturing; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities; effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a capable team, including hiring, training, retention, and coaching.
• Review daily production orders to ensure on-time fulfillment and proper coding of products.
• Ensure all workstations are staffed before production starts and that shifts run smoothly.
• Ensure machinery is working and all stations pass USDA inspections.
• Promote safety daily through meetings and ongoing training.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to resolve production issues.
• Emphasize quality and continuous improvement in processes.
• Accept other duties as needed; work on the 3rd shift (10pm–6:30am).
